Ball Python

The ball python is native to African savannas and grasslands. It is the smallest snake in the python family. It gets the name ball python by its signature defense move – coiling up in a tight ball with its head and neck hidden in the middle.

Ball pythons are nonvenomous, generally very docile and are popular pet snakes.
