Rental Information

Sarett Nature Center rents rooms for special events, meetings, luncheons and parties. Our beautiful setting, no matter which room you choose, will make your event unique.

Sarett does not rent rooms for weddings or receptions.

Package Rental                   

  • $225/hour
  • Includes the Great Room, Classroom, Deck and use of the Kitchen

Birthday Parties – Held in the Lower Level Learning Center 

  • $100 for up to 10 children/Hour and a half rental
  • $10/child after 10 children
  • Includes 1/2 hour themed program from Sarett
  • Our parties are available for children 4 and older. If you would like to plan a family party, please consider renting our room for $100/hour.

Rental Policies

Making a Reservation

All rentals, except for birthday parties, require a 25% down payment, a $250 security deposit, and a signed rental contract to secure your reservation. The minimum rental period is 2 hours.


Temporary decorations are allowed in the rental area. No nails, staples or tape can be used. No ladders may be used. Decorating and removal of decorations must occur within the rental time.


Beer and wine may be served with the permission of Sarett Nature Center, but not sold. Please serve only responsible amounts. No alcohol is allowed outside of rented rooms.


A CD player and microphone are available. We can also play music from an iPod or similar device. Please speak with the rental coordinator. Only low volume music is allowed. Please remember to respect other nature center visitors.


Wi-Fi is not available.


Sarett can provide 6-foot rectangular tables and chairs for your event. You are responsible for obtaining your own caterer, tablecloths, dishes, glassware, silverware, etc.

Open-flame candles are prohibited. 

Sarett’s buildings and grounds are non-smoking areas. 

Dogs, cats or pets are not allowed.
