August 16, Thursday, 3:00 pm WILDLIFE WONDERS. Meet Sarett’s live birds of prey and learn about their adaptations. $5/adult, kids and members free.

Kayak the St. Joseph River

August 18, Saturday, 10:00 am KAYAK THE ST. JOSEPH RIVER. Enjoy a summer morning float down the St. Joe River from Berrien Springs to Jasper Dairy Road.  Bring a hat, plenty of drinking water and snacks. $20/person, $15/member includes transportation, kayak and equipment & Sarett naturalist guide. You must call to register 927-4832. Pre-Payment required. PLEASE ARRIVE 15 MINUTES EARLY!

Monarch Migration Program

August 19, Sunday, 2:00 pm MONARCH MIGRATION. One of our most recognizable butterflies, the monarch, has a most unique migration. Today, we will visit the butterfly house and walk to a milkweed field as we delve into the mysteries of the life cycle of this butterfly.

Wildlife Wonders!

August 23, Thursday, 3:00 pm Wildlife Wonders. Meet with a naturalist every Thursday during the summer to learn about the types of animals at Sarett. Each Thursday will feature a few different live animals, including birds, reptiles, insects or amphibians. A great program for families! $5/adult, kids & members FREE.

Barn Party Fundraiser!

September 9, Sunday, BARN PARTY! Mark your calendar to join us for this annual FUNdraising event. This year’s event will be held at the nature center building in the great room. (Maybe we should start calling it the Non-Barn Party). Hope to see you then.

Country Fair!

October 13, Saturday, 2018, 11:00 am to 3:00 pm COUNTRY FAIR.  Don’t forget to attend this fun afternoon.  Remember we are always in need of clean saleable rummage.  We will be ready for rummage donations beginning in September. Look for more details as we get closer to the event!
